While reflecting on my experience growing up with Swedish and American culture at home, I became increasingly interested in other people's experiences with multiculturalism in its various forms. From cuisine to language to experiences being mixed-race, each experience of being multicultural is unique, yet many similarities arise.
MultiCultural presents splinters of the different experiences living within a hyphen and while they all vary vastly from my own, I felt a little less alone while creating the work. Hopefully it can do the same for others.
